We deeply mourn the loss of Life Member David A. Jones on Sunday, December 11th.
Dave joined the Latham Fire Department in October of 1991 and has been a dedicated member since.
Dave loved being with his family and friends, along with watching football in his spare time. Dave loved his career working for Canadian Pacific Railroad, and participated in many community events.
Dave held many positions within the department which include Lieutenant, Director, Member at Large and Trustee. One of Dave's favorite things to do for the fire department was to participate in Santa in the District, which brought many smiles and memories to kids in the area. Dave was also known for riding EMS4 (our first responder car) for many years and was nicknamed "EMS Jones." Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends, along with all who knew Dave. Please them in yours as well. Rest easy Dave, we'll take it from here.

All Officers, Members and Ladies Auxiliary are requested to meet in full dress uniform on Thursday, December 15th at 6PM at Station 1 to proceed to the Bowen Parker Funeral Home at 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110.
