On behalf of the Officers and the members of the department, I would like to congratulate Billy Juliano on his appointment to the City of Troy Fire Department. Billy was sworn in at a ceremony this past Friday and will begin the 14 week Troy Fire Academy being held at the Rensselaer County Fire Training Center. Billy will be joining former volunteer members Jon Monaghan and Kevin Douglas (later one of our paid firefighters), and former paid firefighters Ryan Handerhan (Academy Director), Dave Judge, and Mike Kelleher (Battalion Chief).
